Green Beans with Caramelized Onions
serves 4

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Caramelize the onions in olive oil, then add the vinegar to taste.
  2. While the onions are cooking, sear the beans in olive oil in a separate pan until done - small batches works best. If cooking a large quantity, add the chicken broth after initial searing and cover until the beans are done. Pour off any remaining broth.
  3. Add the olive oil and garlic, toss until fragrant, and remove from heat. Season to taste.
  4. Plate the beans, garnish with the onions, and serve hot.
